In etwa vergleichbar mit einem Aufruf deutscher Nutzviehzüchter und Fleischerinnungen sich doch des Leids der Tiere bewusst zu machen, die man als Nahrung zu sich nimmt. Viele haben nicht erst seit diesem offenen Brief das Gefühl, dass sich durch KI nicht nur die Möglichkeiten potenzieren, sondern auch die Widersprüche in der Gesellschaft in ungeahnte Höhen steigen.

Nach der ca. 7 Milliarden US-Dollar schweren Akquisition von Mellanox durch NVIDIA im April diesen Jahres, wurde das Unternehmen offiziell von Mellanox Technologies zu NVIDIA Networking umbenannt.

Mellanox hat vor kurzem Ihr Produktportfolio um die neue Serie der Ethernet-Switche erweitert. Die neue SN4000 Switch-Reihe umfasst Drei verschiedene Systeme in den passenden Formfaktoren 1U, 2U und 4U für die Rack-Montage. Das Top-Modell Mellanox SN4800 (4HE), sowie Mellanox SN4700 (1HE) unterstützen bis zu 32 400GbE Ports mit QSFP-DD-Modulen, sowie 64 Ports für 200 GbE (QSFP56). In den letzteren Modell SN4600 mit seinen 2 Höhen-Einheiten, finden sich bis zu maximal 64 Ports in 200 GbE (QSFP56) Platz. Alle Modelle können ebenfalls mit QSFP28-Modulen in Geschwindigkeiten 1/10/40/50/100 GbE betrieben werden. Je nach Modell sind in diesen GbE Bereichen maximal 128 Ports möglich.
